Who We Are

Southern Group Training was established in November 1999 to enable more young people, and more employers, to become involved in trade training by making it easier for them to do so.

As a group training company employing apprentices across a wide variety of trades Southern Group Training employs Training Managers who have completed apprenticeships in their own specific trades.

These staff, based in Invercargill, know what it is like to be an apprentice and are experts in their trades.

An experienced administration team covers all aspects of managing the paperwork generated by employing and training apprentices. Most importantly they run payroll in house allowing close monitoring of all aspects of an apprentice’s employment.
